Material cost
The biggest factor is the weight of the finished part. A 1kg spool of filament costs a set amount, and your part's weight is a slice of that. Larger parts and higher infill percentages use more material and cost more.
Print time
Printers run one job at a time, so the hours your model takes on the machine are real cost. Complex geometry, high detail, and dense infill all add time — and therefore price. That is why a simple bracket is cheap while a detailed sculpture is not.
Material choice
PLA is the most economical, PETG is a little more, and TPU is usually the most expensive of the three. Each also affects how the part is handled and how long it takes to print.
Setup and finishing
A clean quote should include support removal, any post-processing, and quality checks. Some models need a slightly different orientation or extra supports, which can add to the print time.
